Anti Tissue Transglutaminase IgA Kit

This anti tissue transglutaminase EIA kit is designed for the quantitation of specific IgA autoantibodies against tissue transglutaminase present in human serum, as an aid in the diagnosis of coeliac disease. This assay provides a suitable alternative to immunofluorescent assays for small and large scale screening therefore avoiding subjective interpretation.

The most clinically significant autoantibody associated with coeliac disease is IgA anti-tissue transglutaminase. However, these patients are commonly IgA deficient and this deficiency may contribute to a number of false negative serology results. The BINDAZYME anti-tissue transglutaminase IgG EIA provides an aid in the diagnosis of coeliac disease in IgA deficient patients who often develop IgG anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies.

Ease of Use

To aid disease panel testing, anti tissue transglutaminase and anti gliadin EIA kits are supplied with a common wash buffer and sample diluent.

Calibration

The assay is calibrated in U/mL against an arbitrary reference calibrator, as no internationally recognised reference preparation is currently available. A 5 point calibration curve is generated.
