- Substrate Slides
Substrate slides are in either 5 or 10 well format (additionally 12 & 24 well in the case of HEp-2 cells). Substrates are carefully stabilised to ensure antigen integrity and slides are individually foil sealed for prolonged storage at 2-8°C.
- Positive and Negative Controls
Monospecific control sera (normally prediluted) included in all IFA kits.
- Evans Blue
Provided separately rather than being incorporated in the conjugate, (except where specifically stated) for optimal operator preference.
- Phosphate Buffered Saline
20 fold concentrate in liquid form.
- Blotters
- Mounting Medium
Especially formulated for immunofluorescence microscopy, contains anti-fading agents.
- Coverslips
- Fluorescein Conjugates
Affinity purified sheep antibodies to human IgG whole molecule are optimally labelled with high activity fluorescein isothiocyanate (Fluorescein). Cross species reactivity is minimised by adsorption against immobilised mouse and rat serum proteins. This reduces any background fluorescence encountered using rodent tissues substrates.
