The Binding Site Group Ltd., Birmingham UK.
The headquarters of The Binding Site Group Ltd with 350 people. Research activities are split between the main site situated on the outskirts of Birmingham and Birmingham University where we lease laboratories. As well as the research activities the main site houses all product development and manufacturing as well as global distribution, marketing and administrative functions. Direct sales and product support to customers in the UK is centred here with both field-based and office-based staff giving countrywide coverage. Over 60 distributors spread around the world also receive sales, marketing and product support from personnel based at the UK site.
The Binding Site Inc based in San Diego, California, employs 78 staff with approximately half based in the San Diego office and half field-based throughout the USA and Canada. Primary functions are sales, marketing, distribution and support to customers within North and Central America. With highly trained technical personnel dedicated to instrument and reagent support, The Binding Site Inc are able to offer outstanding levels of technical support and customer service across the whole of North America.
The Binding Site GmbH is based in Schwetzingen near Heidelberg in Germany. 35 staff are employed with the primary functions of sales, marketing, distribution and support to customers within Germany and Austria.
The Binding Site France is a branch of The Binding Site Group Ltd., employing 22 people based in Grenoble in France. Primary functions are sales, marketing, distribution and support to customers within France and the French speaking distributor markets.
The newly opened branch of The Binding Site Spain is based in Barcelona. Currently employing 8 people the branch has started to take on the functions of sales and customer support throughout Spain. Future plans will involve further strengthening of the personnel in Spain to enable support into the Spanish speaking distributor markets.
The Binding Site s.r.o., based in Prague, distributes Binding Site products in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. This new direct Binding Site office was opened on 1st February 2010 to provide dedicated customer and technical support for Binding Site customers.
The Binding Site SPRL/BVBA, based in Antwerp, distributes Binding Site products in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. This new direct Binding Site office was opened on 12th April 2010 to provide dedicated customer and technical support for Binding Site customers.
As well as the direct sales organisations above we also sell through a distributor network into a further 62 countries worldwide.
